The ongoing violence of the civil war in Syria made news coverage very difficult. Nevertheless, substantial and trustworthy news coverage is inevitable to expose the brutality and the complexity of the crisis. Therefore, KAS is organizing a media training for Syrian journalists from 20th – 22nd October to foster Syrian journalists´ professionalism and to enable them to stay updated on recent developments in the media scene.
