Even during and after the Arab Spring, the Arab monarchies remained stable and secure. Nevertheless, the phenomenon of the durability of the monarchies, which is certainly relevant, should not obscure the differences between them. Under the title “The Duality of Reform and Stability in Arab Monarchies -Commonalities and Differences”, KAS Jordan Office in cooperation with Al-Quds Center for Political Studies holds a regional conference from the 17th to 20th of March in Cadenabbia, Italy to discuss challenges and opportunities the monarchies will be facing in the next years, using the examples of Morocco and Jordan.
