Lebanon’s Fiscal Deficit; How to address this urgent challenge

In collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), the Lebanese Forces Party organized a round table on “Lebanon’s Fiscal Deficit; How to address this urgent challenge”. The workshop took place on Wednesday 06, February 2019 in Citea Hotel Achrafieh and discussed ways to reduce the fiscal deficit in the budget. This workshop was the beginning of a series of workshops that will address the challenges of the economic and financial sectors affected by the economic development and growth in Lebanon.

Economic & Social Council Conference on "Stagflation"

In cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation the Economic & Social Council of the Lebanese Kataeb Party organized a public expert round table discussion consisting of former ministers, representatives and MPs of different political parties and their consultants of politics, media and the private sector, under the topic “Is Lebanon heading towards a Stagflation”.

On 22nd June 2018, Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) and Smart Center brought together 5 female Members of Parliament and students to discuss topics related to the youth and female emancipation among other relevant subjects.

Conflict Prevention and Human Rights in Lebanon

Training and Graffiti in order to promote the youth in Al-Qaa

To reconcile Syrians and Lebanese, train the youth in conflict prevention and human right as well as to promote tourism, the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation worked toghether with the NGO Dawaer on behalf of the Bernhard-Vogel-Foundation in Al-Qaa, North Bekaa-valley. On the 9th and 10th of June, a final workshop taught the youth life skills with regard to human rights, conflict management and dealing with racism. Also, in a community project a graffiti artist from Beirut and teenagers from Al-Qaa created interactive wall paintings in order to raise awareness for similar reconciliation projects.
