Building a resilient future workforce through TVET - Konwledge Exchange with Germany
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Malaysia alongside with our regional collaboration partner, the Sarawak Development Institute (SDI), is jointly bringing together this initiative to explore the role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in strengthening Sarawak's human capital development. A Dialogue among various stakeholders from private and public sector as well Training Institutes.
Sarawak with its growing economic and industrial landscape in particular in the sector of renewable energy and digitalisation requires a skilled workforce that meets the needs of present and future industries. Strengthening TVET is therefore a priority to ensure that young people are equipped with the right skills to enable bussines to growth. Germany's prominent TVET program and dual training system is globally well recoqnised for producing highly skilled professionals. The dialogue among state representatives, training institutions and industry will elaborate deeper on the potential of various training models that combines theorie and practical modules
