Details
Following the success of the first edition – last year in Cape Town –, Reporter Slam Africa returns in 2025, once again bringing together six journalists from diverse backgrounds to showcase their storytelling skills. Since last year's winning slammer, Melony Ishola, hails from Nigeria, this year's event will take place in her hometown, the city of Lagos. Each slammer will have ten minutes on stage to capture the audience with their research, blending information with entertaining storytelling. In addition to the on-site audience who will vote for their favourite performance, a live stream will also allow viewers worldwide to join in selecting the Slam Campion.
