The workshop will focus on the practical application of artificial intelligence in newsrooms, with an emphasis on transparency, and content verification. The program includes an introduction to generative AI, the ethical and legal aspects of its use, the creation of visual content using free tools, as well as the identification and verification of deepfakes and synthetic media. In addition, discussions will address the protection of journalists from AI-driven attacks and European standards for AI governance in the media.
