The training is intended for members of the Executive Committee of VMRO-DPMNE and candidates for mayors, with the aim of strengthening their knowledge, strategic approaches and communication skills for developing effective and inclusive local policies.
Welcoming addresses at the training will be delivered by Daniel Braun, Official representative of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Hristijan Mickoski, Prime Minister and President of VMRO-DPMNE, Svetislav Vasev, Head of the Party Research and Analytical Center “Ljubisha Georgievski” and Ivan Jordanov, Mayor of Shtip.
The program includes lectures and interactive sessions focused on strengthening strategic planning, political communication, leadership, and citizen participation in the decision-making process. Participants will work on developing practical skills and approaches for responsible and effective local governance, with an emphasis on transparency, accountability, and trust-building.
As part of the training, a panel discussion will be held on the topic “Joined Forces for Local Impact: Building Effective Cooperation Between Government, Parliament and Municipalities to Meet Citizens’ Needs” with participation from representatives of all three levels of government.
Through this initiative, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Party Research and Analytical Center contribute to the enhancement of capacities for implementing responsible and effective local policies, which are essential for sustainable development and for building prosperous and functional municipalities throughout the country.
