On September 12-13, 2012, the regional programme Political Dialogue Asia of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung holds the 14th East Asia-Europe Think Tank Dialogue. This year´s conference will be organized in cooperation with the long-standing partners Institute for Strategic and Development Studies (Philippines) and the Asia-Europe Foundation (Singapore). Local partners in Laos will be the Laotian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute of Foreign Affairs of Laos.

Under the title “Engendering Inclusive Growth - A common challenge for strong bilateral relations between Asia and the European Union - Social cohesion debates and policies in Asia and Europe”, representatives from think tanks in Europe and Asia will discuss about income inequality, migration and integration as well as the Europe-Asia relations in times of economic turbulences.
