Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Political Dialogue Asia was pleased to join the Europe Day celebrations in Nepal together with partners, scholars, and young changemakers working towards a more sustainable future.

In the morning,  Andreas Klein, Director of KAS PDA  engaged with students from National College Nepal during the concluding day of the youth workshop on climate change and disaster response. Students presented their research findings and field-based data collection conducted throughout the programme, reflecting on local climate challenges, community engagement, and sustainable solutions.

Later in the day, KAS PDA together with South Asian Youth for SDGs (SAYS) joined the Europe Day celebrations and also visited the Embassy of Germany in Kathmandu to present the work of SAYS and exchange ideas on how youth across South Asia are contributing to climate action and community-led initiatives.

The day reflected the importance of international cooperation, youth engagement, and partnerships in addressing shared regional and global challenges.
