The relationship between creating politics and controlling constitutional adjudication is not always free of tensions. On November 10, 2007, legal scholars and practitioners and political scientists as well as politicians discussed in the light of separation of powers, the limits of constitutional adjudication in Bulgaria. Principal speaker was Prof. Dr. Grimm, former judge at the Federal Constitutional Court in Germany and member of the Wissenschaftkolleg zu Berlin. The opening speech was delivered by Dr. iur. Stefanie Ricarda Roos, Director of the Rule of Law Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
