Workshop: “Girls and Young Women Empowerment in the MENA Region"

The workshop aims at transferring knowledge and at training 20 young women from youth-led organizations from Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan on fundamental human rights principles and advocacy and lobbying skills, in order to them to advocate for their causes on the basis of knowledge and evidence.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Rule of Law Programme Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Plan International Jordan are partnering up to train 20 young women as well as youth/young women-led organizations on the structure, context, tools, and bodies implementing international human rights available to them.

The target group was chosen from various MENA countries in order to equip them with the ability to advocate for their rights in their communities across the region.

This is the second phase of the project, which is focused on advocacy and lobbying skills.

The training will be held in Beirut, Lebanon from September 10 - 13, 2022.
