Dr. Norbert Lammert, President of the German Bundestag, concluded his stay in Thailand with a lecture on "Challenges for German-Thai Relations in a time of Globalisation" at the Shangrila Hotel. He gave the lecture in honour of the 25th anniversary of the KAS in Thailand and used this opportunity to introduce Dr. Lars Peter Schmidt, the new Representative to Thailand. Politicians, Judges, Representatives of German-Thai companies, Foreign Diplomats and the media were present.
