Details
The Secretariat of the National Assembly (SNA) continues to advance its organizational development towards becoming a “SMART Parliament” by strengthening the capacity of its personnel to effectively integrate digital technologies into their work. In response to rapid global technological changes, particularly the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI, this training program is designed to enhance both the knowledge and practical skills of officials in applying these tools to support parliamentary functions.
Building on the success of the introductory AI training conducted in 2025 in cooperation with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Thailand, this program represents a second phase of development. While previous training enabled participants to begin applying AI in their individual work, further assessment highlighted the need for deeper understanding, particularly in systematic prompt design and the broader application of AI at team and organizational levels.
This training program therefore focuses on advancing from basic usage to strategic application. Through hands-on workshops, participants will gain practical experience in using generative AI for a wide range of tasks, including data summarization, document drafting, communication, and performance management. The program also emphasizes the design of efficient and context-appropriate workflows, enabling participants to integrate AI into their daily responsibilities in a more structured and impactful manner.
In addition, the program aims to promote the development of best practices for AI usage within the Secretariat, ensuring that its application aligns with institutional needs and supports effective governance. By encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, the initiative contributes to building a more adaptive and forward-looking organizational culture, in line with its vision of becoming a SMART Parliament.
It is expected to accommodate approximately 130 participants, comprising parliamentary executives, officials, employees, and observers.
Upon conclusion of the workshop, participants are expected to possess an increasing knowledge and understanding of the use of generative AI in the office's operations and can design prompts and apply generative AI appropriately to their tasks.
