On 27 August, the College of Public Affairs and Policy (COPA), Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Thailand Office and Sila Town Municipality, held the Kick-off Meeting for a new project on “Enhancing Local Government Capacity through Artificial Intelligence for Public Management and Service Delivery.”

The meeting brought together representatives from academia, local government and other relevant stakeholders to assess the existing system and user needs, analyse key pain points to develop a concrete action plan and discuss the project’s direction.

The project will be carried out in three phases. The Kick-off Meeting marks the beginning of the first phase, which is the preparation and system development planning. The discussions and findings from this phase will help shape the subsequent system development and co-design activities.
