The international conference «Re-thinking the fundamentals cluster benchmarks for Ukraine: expert proposals from Ukrainian civil society» will be held on February 21 in Brussels. This conference is organized by Ukrainian Centre for European Policy (UCEP) in partnership of Foreign Policy Council «Ukrainian Prism», Centre of Policy and Legal Reforms, Mission of Ukraine to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, supported by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Ukraine.

Cafe Kyiv 2024: "Putin cannot be allowed to win this war!"

Political discussions, pop-up market, workshops, films, fashion, art and Ukrainian cuisine

The second Cafe Kyiv took place on February 19 - this time with around 5,000 visitors at the Colosseum Berlin. Together with more than 100 partners, 120 program events on 10 stages and 260 speakers, a varied program was offered on site. There were workshops, political discussions, a charity pop-up market, films, art and Ukrainian fashion and cuisine to discover. Guests included Ursula Von der Leyen, Wladimir Klitschko and other representatives from politics, business and culture.

План для енергосектору України: вистояти та не втратити шанс на стале відновлення

Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue 2023

«Стійкість та відновлення» стали темою міжнародної конференції Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue 2023, що вже втретє відбулася в Києві за ініціативи ГО «Діксі Груп» під патронатом Міністерства енергетики України та за підтримки Фонду Конрада Аденауера в Україні й Міжнародного фонду «Відродження». Ця конференція зарекомендувала себе як важливий міжнародний майданчик для обміну думками між українськими, європейськими та американськими стейкхолдерами про актуальні виклики, що стоять перед енергетикою України в умовах війни з агресивним сусідом і спільного пошуку рішень, які допомогли б посилити стійкість і забезпечити відновлення її енергосистеми, а також сформулювати бачення спільного енергетичного майбутнього України та всього європейського регіону.

Re:Open Zakarpattia 2023

10-11 листопада 2023 року неподалік Ужгорода відбувся 4-й форум Re:Open Zakarpattia, який об’єднав близько 170 учасників та учасниць від громадянського суспільства, політики, держуправління, освіти, культури, бізнесових та експертних кіл з усієї України, а також з Словаччини, Угорщини та Німеччини. Форум Re:Open Zakarpattia був ініційований у 2019 році ГО «Інститут Центральноєвропейської Стратегії» як дискусійний майданчик для пошуку ідей та рішень для розвитку Закарпатської області – мультикультурного фронтиру та мосту України до ЄС та НАТО.

Witnessing the War in Ukraine: Vectors of Reflection, Practices of Documentation

2nd Summer Institute of Oral History

On 12-16 June, 2023 the Summer Institute "Witnessing the War in Ukraine: Vectors of Reflection, Practices of Documentation" (WWSI 2023) was held for the second time in Krakow. The venue was the Institute of Culture Villa Decius, a Renaissance building with a 500-year history that has been a platform for international and inclusive dialogue and cultural exchange for centuries. The 5-day event was organised by international partners from 4 countries, including the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, University of Alberta (Canada), Lund University (Sweden), Institute of Sociology of Jagiellonian University (Poland), Polish and Ukrainian Oral History Associations, and supported by the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (Sweden), Dobra Wola Foundation (Poland), and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Warsaw.

Демонстрація фільму та дискусія про історичну відповідальність Німеччини перед Україною

На спільному заході Харківського офісу Фонду Конрада Аденауера та Центру ліберальної сучасності "Харків у 1941 й сьогодні – відповідальність Німеччини" в Берліні відбулася демонстрація фільму "Про Харків і про себе: досвіди і долі великого міста в усних розповідях його мешканців" професора Гелінади Грінченко. Із огляду на злочини, скоєні німецькими окупантами проти українського населення під час Другої світової війни, виникла дискусія про історичну та сучасну відповідальність Німеччини перед Україною.

На початку квітня 2023 року в Хмельницькому пройшла перша сесія всеукраїнської освітньої програми з політичної освіти для молоді «Young Reformers Lab». Програма була створена у 2019 році за ініціативи ВГО «Солідарна Молодь» та за підтримки Представництва Фонду Конрада Аденауера в Україні. Наступний захід відбувся вже 5-6 травня в Чернігові.

Відбудова України для обговорення – теми, стратегії та міжнародна підтримка» для Sur-Place стипендіатів із Центральної та Східної Європи. Захід був присвячений питанням відбудови України, розвитку міжнародного партнерства та підтримки України на шляху до Європейського Союзу. Учасниками семінару стали представники 11 європейських країн і країн Східного партнерства.

Second Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue

International conference on energy security

The Second Ukrainian Energy Security Dialogue conference, held by DiXi Group on December 1, 2022 in Kyiv, was attended by government officials, industry specialists, parliamentarians and representatives of local governments, experts from Ukraine, EU countries, and the USA. This discussion platform was founded by the Ukrainian think tank Dixi Group in 2021 and is designed to unite the efforts of Ukrainian, European and American stakeholders to receive a proper development of the energy sector of Ukraine, to make it modern and resistant to new challenges. The event was held in a hybrid format under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Ukraine).
