The Center for Security Studies “CENSS”, a Ukrainian think tank specializing in security and public administration, in partnership with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Office in Ukraine, is presenting the results of a study on new tools for interference and influence in electoral processes at the workshop "New Tools for Influencing Electoral Processes". During the event the results of the study will be also discussed in the context of contemporary challenges facing democratic institutions. The study is based on an analysis of case studies from the Republic of Moldova and Romania – specifically, the Russian Federation’s mechanisms of hybrid influence – and includes conclusions and recommendations adapted to the Ukrainian context.
Special attention during the event will be given to practical recommendations and preventive mechanisms aimed at strengthening the resilience of Ukraine’s electoral system to current external threats and ensuring the transparency of future electoral processes following the termination of the legal regime of martial law.
We invite representatives of government agencies, security and law enforcement agencies, as well as the academic and expert communities to participate.
