The event is held within the conference "Energy Security: Lessons Learned from Ukraine", organized by the German Federal Foreign Office, and will take place on 18 May, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Akademie der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (Room 6/7, Tiergartenstraße 35, 10785 Berlin).
The discussion will bring together representatives of the German Federal Government, the Bundestag, transmission system operators, German municipalities, and Ukrainian stakeholders to exchange practical insights on maintaining operational stability of the energy system under the extreme conditions of war and to discuss pathways for stronger European cooperation.
During the event, DiXi Group will present its new analytical report, "Holding the Grid: Ukraine’s Energy Resilience Playbook", highlighting Ukraine’s experience in safeguarding electricity and heat supply under constant attacks on critical infrastructure.
The discussion will be held in English and focus on how these lessons can contribute to:
- strengthening energy system resilience, operational stability, planning, and redundancy;
- developing distributed and flexible capacities, including microgrids and backup systems;
- protecting critical urban infrastructure such as district heating.
