According to Dr. Muhadi Sugiono from Indonesia’s Universitas Gadjah Mada, ASEAN Community is a big idea which can and will change Southeast Asia significantly. However, without proper understanding the Community does not only bring hope, but also uncertainty and even fear to the regional people. He made the comment at the conference “ASEAN Community after One Year of Realisation”, which is co-organised by KAS Vietnam and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The conference attracts 80 participants.
