Peter Girke
Head of International Human Resources
Since 2022, Peter Girke has been heading the Department of International Human Resources, which he joined in 2021 as Policy Advisor. Previously, he served as Head of the Foundation’s Country Office in Vietnam (2016–2021), as Country Advisor for East Africa and Coordinator of the Rule of Law Programs (2011–2016), and as an international staff member in Uganda (2006–2011).Peter Girke studied Law in Berlin, Grenoble, and Belfast. Before joining the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, he worked for various organizations, including GIZ, in Kosovo, Germany, and Afghanistan.
