The Policy Brief gives an overview of the Right to Clean Environment for the citizens and the legal entities, i.e. the right to clean environment in the field of waste management, since this segment of the pollution and environmental protection directly result the rights and obligations of the state, the citizens and companies.

The right to clean environment is a right that every human should enjoy regardless of the status, location and the economic situation where one lives. This, human right from the third generation, was firstly recognised at the international level, and only then it transformed into local legislation.
