Hội thảo
Chi tiết
Value chain is the linkage between groups of producers, traders, processors, and service providers that agree to cooperate with each other to improve the productivity and value of products through joint activities. The ultimate goal of the cooperation is to maintain and increase competitiveness and create a better version of marketable products through innovation.
The training course is tailored to the agricultural production model of Ben Tre, a province with great potential and opportunities for international economic integration. By evaluating the status of current domestic production the training course is expected to provide information on opportunities as well as challenges the local authorities and companies are facing.
The seminar will improve the participants’ awareness of the theory of value chain in agriculture. The seminar sets off from the fact that the limited understanding has put the agricultural businesses in difficulties when promoting their products in international markets. In order to gain a better understanding of the application of value chain development, the participants will work on case studies.
A policy dialogue between local government and businesses at the end of the seminar will help to set out the future course of action.
