CALL FOR TEAM LEADER OF “EU - VIETNAM COOPERATION FACILITY” PROJECT

The EU-Vietnam Cooperation Facility will support the project cycle management of all EU development programmes and will enhance EU-Vietnam policy dialogue. This will enable the EU to implement efficient strategies and achieve successful cooperation objectives in line with its political priorities, positioning the EU as a reliable partner of Vietnam.

Spätestens seit dem Beginn der „China+1“-Politik spielt Vietnam eine tragende Rolle in der Wirtschaftsregion ASEAN. Insbesondere für ausländische Direktinvestitionen ist das Land Vietnam, welches seit drei Jahrzehnten ein unvergleichbares Wirtschaftswachstum von durchschnittlich 6-8% aufweist, interessant. Deutsche Unternehmen möchten im Sinne einer Diversifizierung investieren. Dabei kommt es spätestens seit Januar 2023 mit der Einführung des Lieferkettensorgfalts-pflichtengesetz (LkSG) und der jüngsten Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) nicht mehr nur auf die wirtschaftliche Attraktivität eines Landes an. Vielmehr spielen für die Unternehmen verbindliche Zusagen hinsichtlich der Einhaltung von Menschenrechten, Sozialstandards und Umweltschutz eine zentrale Rolle. Kann die vietnamesische Wirtschaft diese Anforderungen erfüllen?

Ngày 5/12, tại Hà Nội, hội thảo “Liên kết doanh nghiệp Việt Nam và doanh nghiệp FDI để tham gia sâu vào chuỗi giá trị toàn cầu" đã diễn ra với sự tham gia của hơn 100 đại biểu đến từ các cơ quan nghiên cứu, các tổ chức quốc tế, doanh nghiệp và các cơ quan thông tấn báo chí. Hội thảo do Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Vietnam và Viện Nghiên cứu Kinh tế và Chính sách (VEPR) đồng tổ chức nhằm công bố kết quả nghiên cứu về mối liên kết giữa doanh nghiệp Việt Nam và doanh nghiệp FDI và đưa ra gợi ý chính sách thúc đẩy liên kết doanh nghiệp

Nguồn nhân lực đang được coi là một trong những khâu đột phá hiện nay nhằm đảm bảo cho mục tiêu công nghiệp hóa, hiện đại hóa nền kinh tế. Nhằm cung cấp những phân tích về về xu hướng rào cản đang làm cho chuyển dịch lao động khó khăn hơn trong thời gian tới, Viện Chiến lược phát triển - Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư phối hợp với Viện Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) thực hiện nghiên cứu "DỊCH CHUYỂN LAO ĐỘNG ĐẾN 2030 Ở VIỆT NAM THÚC ĐẨY CÔNG NGHIỆP HÓA, HIỆN ĐẠI HÓA NỀN KINH TẾ"

Phase 3: The EU’s Indo-Pacific Strategy in a New Context

Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region is crucial to implementing the international community’s global agenda. Over the years, the EU has consistently made significant contributions in the region in terms of development cooperation. The EU Council Conclusions on an EU Strategy for Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific launched in April 2021 affirms that the EU should reinforce its strategic focus, presence and actions in the Indo-Pacific with the aim of contributing to the stability, security, prosperity and sustainable development of the region, based on the promotion of democracy, rule of law, human rights and international law. In that context, a 3-phase-research on “the EU Approach to Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific: from Strategy to Practice” has been conducted by USSH Hanoi with sponsorship from KAS Vietnam. Its aim is to learn about the European Union’s approach to cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region and impacts on regional countries.
