The topics of energy, climate and environmental policy are of central importance to the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. This topic is not only a regulatory challenge, but also a core concern for the preservation of creation and the protection of the livelihoods of current and future generations. We therefore want to provide impetus for a sustainable approach to the environment at national and international level. Environmental protection is also a cross-sectional task that places previous fields of activity of KAS in the areas of development, economy, security and energy in a changed context and at the same time ties in with the existing fields of activity.

Under this broad umbrella, from 2022, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Vietnam is pleased to set up its new partnership with Ha Noi University Of Civil Engineering to implement a three - year project “Health oriented Policies and Sustainable Building Practices to Promote Well-being and Green Urban Governance in Vietnam”. The project is scheduled for three-year period and a with technical support from Hamburg University, Germany. The project is to enhance and to disseminate action knowledge for academics, practitioners, experts and policymakers through workshops and trainings to combine health-oriented policies with more sustainable building practices because of innovative urban green governance modes in Vietnamese cities.
