From 17-19 May 2017, the ‘Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia' of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), in cooperation with the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) and the Department for European and International Cooperation of KAS, organized this year's Asia-Europe Counter-Terrorism Dialogue in Berlin.

On 31 October and 1 November 2016, the ‘Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia and the Pacific’ of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) organized the first joint Asia-Europe Counter-Terrorism Dialogue in Singapore.

Politische Nachwuchskräfte aus Asien informieren sich über moderne Parteiorganisation und Kommunalpolitik

Mitglieder der 6. Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians (KASYP) besuchten vom 04. bis 10. September Berlin und Thüringen. Die Teilnehmer aus verschiedenen asiatischen Ländern, die bereits seit Anfang 2015 mehrere gemeinsame Seminare in Asien hatten, interessierten sich insbesondere für moderne Parteiorganisation und -kommunikation sowie deutsche Wirtschafts-, Sozial- und Kommunalpolitik.

Policy Conference “New Migrations and the Challenges of Integration in Europe, Australia and New Zealand”

Europe and Australasia are traditional receiving regions of migration and refugees. Countries in both continents have developed diverse and innovative policy measures to meet the challenges arising from this and integrate arriving people into their respective societies. The speed of movement and the acceleration characterize new migrations and force national governments to act swiftly. Thus, an exchange between the two regions to learn from each other’s experiences can bring about new approaches to this phenomenon.

From February 7th to February 12th 2016, a high-level delegation of the Christian Democratic Union Party (CDU) from Germany and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung led by Dr Klaus Schüler, Federal Director of the Christian Democratic Union Party, together with Dr Gerhard Wahlers and Frank Priess continued their political dialogue programme in Australia in order to develop existing ties with political parties and exchange views on common global challenges. The programme was organized and accompanied by Dr Beatrice Gorawantschy, Director of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Regional Programme Political Dialogue.

From February 4th to February 7th a high-level delegation of the Christian Democratic Union Party (CDU) from Germany and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung led by Dr Klaus Schüler, Federal Director of the Christian Democratic Union Party, together with Dr Gerhard Wahlers and Frank Priess is visiting New Zealand to foster the dialogue with policymakers and think tanks and to develop existing ties with the political parties partnering with the CDU.

Vom 19. - 26. September 2015 besuchte eine Delegation von asiatischen Nachwuchspolitikern auf Einladung des Teams Inlandsprogramme Berlin und Thüringen. Der Besuch fand im Rahmen der „Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians“ (KASYP) statt, welche seit einigen Jahren vom Regionalprojekt „Politikdialog Asien“ der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung durchgeführt wird.
