John F. Kennedy gave a speech on the 26 June 1963 in Berlin, where he said the words ‘Ich bin ein Berliner’ (I am a Berliner / I am a citizen of Berlin) which became one of the most famous slogans of the Cold War. The Antall József Knowledge Centre will discuss the changes in the relationship between the USA and Germany from the second half of the 20th century until the recent years. The first panel will focus on the bilateral relations and will discuss the present relationship and the possible future trends between Germany and the USA. The second panel will discuss general current issues connected to the EU - USA relations.
