Regionalkoordinatoren treffen sich zu strategischer Planung in Campinas

Die brasilianische Vereinigung für Umweltmanagement (port.: Associação Nacional de Órgãos Municipais de Meio Ambiente, ANAMMA), veranstaltete vom 10. bis 12. Juli 2017 das Brasilianische Forum für Umweltmanagement in Campinas mit dem Ziel, Institutionen, die auf Gemeindeebene im Umweltmanagement tätig sind, zu vernetzen. Das Dialogforum CB27 wurde eingeladen, um an der Veranstaltung mit Akteuren des Privatsektors, der lokalen Regierungen, internationalen Organisationen und Institutionen sowie kommunalen Netzwerken teilzunehmen.

Rio de Janeiro in the focus of international politics of security: For the 13th time, the International Security Conference “Forte de Copacabana” gathered politicians, army officers, diplomats and academics from both Europe as well as Latin America together. Brazil’s minister of defence, Raul Jungmann, introduced the defence strategies of the new Brazilian government under president Temer, and the special envoy of the European Union for peace processes in Colombia, Eamon Gilmore, commented on the previously rejected peace agreement.

Bound by shared history and comprehensive cultural ties, as well as linked by an important economic relationship, Brazil watches keenly as events unfold on the European continent. In order to discuss issues concerning the common agenda, as well as to shed light on challenges regarding the recent events in Europe, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, together with the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and the Delegation of the European Union to Brazil, organized the 3rd Europe Day Conference on the 8th of May, which took place in the former foreign ministry, the Palacio Itamaraty, in Rio de Janeiro.

Im Zeichen der Kooperationsmöglichkeiten in Klima- und Energiefragen stand das „XVII. Forum Brasilien-Europa“, das am 26. und 27. Mai 2010 in Brasilia stattfand. Das Forum war eine von der EU-Delegation in Brasilien unterstützte Gemeinschaftsveranstaltung der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, der brasilianisch-europäischen Parlamentariergruppe des brasilianischen Kongresses und der Universität von Brasilia.
