K2 is designed to foster a culture of civic responsibility, shared ownership, tolerance, and community participation. Rather than following traditional classroom-based learning, the initiative promotes interactive, creative, and peer-to-peer learning among youth from diverse backgrounds.
As part of the initiative, a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop[VE1] was conducted in April 2026, bringing together a new youth leadership team. The training focused on strengthening the team’s capacity in communication, teamwork, volunteering, resource management, research and digital information analysis, session planning, peer-to-peer facilitation, and event coordination. These skills will enable the youth team to take an active role in shaping and delivering future K2 activities.
Following the training, KAS Jordan Office and KanzJo will host three K2 political salons led by the youth core team. This approach ensures meaningful youth participation throughout the process, from planning and designing activities to implementation and evaluation.
Through K2, young people are thus not only given a platform to share their perspectives but are also empowered to become facilitators and leaders in creating a more inclusive and participatory Jordan.
