Fostering Political Engagement of People with Disabilities

The workshop focused on the mechanisms of cooperation between political parties and parliamentary blocs, emphasizing a rights-based approach to disability as a human rights issue. It also raised awareness of the concepts, roles, and functions of political parties and parliamentary blocs, as well as the mechanisms for effective collaboration between them, with the aim of fostering an inclusive political environment that strengthens the participation of persons with disabilities within political parties.
