The program focused on building a solid understanding of the electoral system, while also developing competencies in planning and managing electoral campaigns, leadership, communication, and effective political discourse. Beyond technical skills, the initiative places strong emphasis on boosting participants’ confidence and strengthening their psychological and social readiness to engage responsibly and ethically in the political arena. Through a hands-on approach, the program bridges theory and practice, enabling participants to turn knowledge into real-world action.
The program was delivered over eight interactive training days by trainer Mr. Amro Nawaiseh, combining theoretical learning with practical exercises through group work, real-life case studies, election campaign simulations, and pre- and post-assessments to measure impact.
Throughout the training, participants worked in groups on developing projects targeting key aspects of advancement for the political party, namely its role in local administration, its presence at universities, the role of youth voices in the party, and community participation. On the closing day, participants—divided into four groups—presented these projects and received feedback and evaluation from two members of the Jordanian parliament, a representative of the political party and the director of KAS Jordan. The winning project will be adopted and implemented by the Al Mithaq Party.
The program reflects a successful and comprehensive training experience that contributed to building the capacities of youth who are actively engaged in the Al Mithaq Party and enhancing their readiness for effective and responsible political and community participation. Through its rich training content and interactive methodologies, the program achieved a tangible impact on participants’ knowledge, skills, and self-confidence, while also fostering a spirit of leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking.
