Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Cambodia Open Day is an informal networking event for the public to have full access to KAS Cambodia and its partners’ initiatives and missions. KAS Cambodia is organizing a women empowerment event on 16th December under the title “Women Voices in Society, Politics and Art” where we will walk you through an inspiring art exhibition showcasing amazing women leaders across the globe as well as to engage you in a panel discussion with women leaders from three different sectors. There will also be a live classical music performance, following by buffet dinner. It will be open for public registration soon with free admission.

What are the priorities Cambodia will have to face during its ASEAN-chairmanship in 2022? Which challenges await the organisation and its chair? On 3rd December, we will launch this timely publication at a conference at Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh.

International Relations Outreach

There has long been a sharp divide between Phnom Penh and rural Cambodia when it comes to tertiary education. This is especially true when it comes to International Relations Studies. KAS Cambodia, along with its partners at the Asian Vision Institute (AVI), the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP) and the International Relations Institute of Cambodia (IRIC) jointly together establish a series of digital sessions via Zoom at 15:00 – 17:00 (GMT+7) from 25th until 27th October, 2021 that offer IR as a study subject and to bring students into contact with renowned experts from our four institutions and beyond to bolster their understanding of IR and to strengthen their connection to the actors in the capital and abroad.
