South Asian Youth for SDGs (SAYS), a youth-led initiative by five Konrad Adenauer Stiftung scholars organized a riverside cleanup initiative and launched another Climate Smart Club at Shree Secondary School, Chitrasari, Chitwan . Through interactive sessions on climate change, waste management, and sustainability, the programme empowered students with practical environmental knowledge and climate-smart tools.
SAYS’ first Climate Smart School project is supported by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Political Dialogue Asia, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting youth-led climate action and sustainable development in South Asia. With the launch of the new club in Chitwan, SAYS is now actively working with three Climate Smart Clubs across Nepal, further strengthening environmental awareness, student engagement, and community-driven climate initiatives.
