During the discussion, Mr. Major-General Stahl introduced his work in the army and the BAKS itself, after which he also highlighted the latest development of the German National Security Strategy and shed light on the current challenges amid the "Zeitenwende" (Transition of Time) and the ongoing Russo-Ukraine War from Germany and Europe's perspectives.

Major General Wolf-Jürgen Stahl is the President of the Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS). Previously, Mr. Stahl served as Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, at NATO's Joint Support and Enabling Command in Ulm. He has been deployed abroad several times, including as commander in Afghanistan in 2017 and 2018.
