The Parliamentary Committee on Court Affairs, State Enterprises, Independent Organs, Public Organizations, and the Fund of the House of Representatives

The Secretariat of the National Assembly represented by the Parliamentary Committee on Court Affairs, State Enterprises, Independent Organs, Public Organizations, and the Fund of the House of Representatives is organizing a two-day seminar with the support of the KAS in Thailand.

Details

The goal is to disseminate knowledge about the roles and duties of the parliamentary committee for the people – this time in the central region of Thailand. Moreover, the organizers would like the audience to better understand and realize the supporting role of the citizens in a participatory democracy. Finally, they would like to collect the participants’ opinion to further develop the operations of the committee in the service of the population.

Day 1

 

- Opening remark by Mr. Jirayu Houngsub, President of the Parliamentary Committee on Court Affairs, State Enterprises, Independent Organs, Public Organizations and the Fund of the House of Representatives;

 

- Panel discussion on “Roles and Duties of the Parliamentary Committee on Court Affairs, State Enterprises, Independent Organs, Public Organizations, and the Fund of the House of Representatives” with

  • Mr. Pramarn Laungwattanawanich, Lawyer and Speaker, the Justice Administration Program in Middle and Advanced Level, Office of the Justice Affairs;
  • Dr. Peerapong Pairin, Former Provincial Election Director, Election Commission of Thailand;
  • Acting Sub Lt. Tanat Chatchawan, Vice President, the Mass Media for the Society.

 

Day 2

 

- Panel discussion on “Examination on Court Affairs, State Enterprises, Independent Organs, Public Organizations, and the Fund of the House of the Representatives” with

  • Mr. Pramarn Laungwattanawanich, Lawyer and Speaker, the Justice Administration Program in Middle and Advanced Level, Office of the Justice Affairs;
  • Dr. Peerapong Pairin, Former Provincial Election Director, Election Commission of Thailand;
  • Acting Sub Lt. Tanat Chatchawan, Vice President, the Mass Media for the Society

 

- Panel discussion on “Case Studies and Complaints about an Operation of the Public Organization on the National Nuclear Plant in Nakhon Nayok Province and Affects from an operation on the Covid-19 Pandemic Control: Methodologies, Recommendations, and Solutions by the Committee” with

  • Mr. Pramarn Laungwattanawanich, Lawyer and Speaker, the Justice Administration Program in Middle and Advanced Level, Office of the Justice Affairs;
  • Dr. Peerapong Pairin, Former Provincial Election Director, Election Commission of Thailand;
