ACADEMIC FORUM 2026 EXPLORES VIETNAM’S STRATEGIC CHOICES IN A FRAGMENTED WORLD

On 10-11 September 2026, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Vietnam and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) jointly organized the Academic Forum 2026 in Hanoi under the theme "Vietnam's Strategic Choices: Middle Power Diplomacy in a Fragmented World." Held against the backdrop of intensifying geopolitical competition, economic fragmentation, rapid technological change, and growing transnational challenges, the forum served as a timely venue for academic exchange on the evolving role of middle powers in international affairs.
