As part of the efforts by the Israel Women’s Network (IWN) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung to support and advance the status of women in Israel, the conference discussed and promoted two new bills written by IWN’s legal department, for the consideration of the Knesset regarding work-life balance in the workplace. The conference was hosted by Knesset member Orit Zuaretz, Chair of the Lobby of Women’s Employment, Knesset members and government representatives.

Vom 16. bis 20. November 2011 trafen sich auf Einladung der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Israel und des Israel Palestine Center for Research and Information (IPCRI) hochrangige israelische und palästinensische Vertreter aus Politik und Wirtschaft in Cadenabbia (Italien), um gemeinsam die Frage der Verkehrs- und Versorgungsinfrastruktur eines zukünftigen Staates Palästina zu diskutieren. Als Veranstaltungsort diente die ehemalige Sommerresidenz Konrad Adenauers, in der der erste deutsche Bundeskanzler mit bedeutenden Politikern und Persönlichkeiten seiner Zeit zusammentraf.

November 2011 seine Einschätzung über die aktuellen Entwicklungen im Konflikt zwischen Israelis und Palästinensern.
