The Culture Podcast of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung

What does a work of art tell us about our time? The first person to address this question is the artist himself, because artists are not necessarily wiser than their work, but they probably know it better than anyone else. With this in mind, our podcast speaks with current and former scholarship holders of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s Artists’ Support Program (EHF 2010).
The podcast explores the political and aesthetic power of art and literature, as well as their freedom. How much trust remains in politics? What happens at the boundaries of artistic practice? Through conversations about and through art, our guests perform artistic feats of their own: a surprising quotation, an artistic discovery, an inspiring idea, or a glimpse behind the scenes of the studio and creative process. Subscribing is well worth it!
The podcast is aimed at both younger and older listeners who are interested in the state of artistic narratives and in the experiences of artists.
Each episode features a conversation. Accompanied by Hans-Jörg Clement, Head of the Cultural Affairs Department of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and Managing Director of the EHF, and Michael Braun, the Foundation’s Literary Affairs Officer, listeners gain fresh perspectives on our world.
