Details

The conference ‘Brazil-Germany Dialogue: Shaping the Transatlantic Future’ aims to deepen the strategic dialogue between Brazil and Germany in light of current global challenges. The two countries are linked by a partnership spanning more than 200 years, characterised by trust and close political and economic cooperation. Germany is one of the most important investors in Brazil, with bilateral trade volume amounting to around 20 billion euros.

Against this backdrop, the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur is also gaining in importance as a signal for competitiveness, sustainable growth and free trade.

The conference brings together experts and decision-makers from both countries to exchange views on the prospects for transatlantic cooperation.
