In our newest research paper, we look at the relationship between China and 10 ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries in the field of Security and Defence Cooperation.

The study also analyzes the size of the thematic Media Coverage in Southeast Asia in English and Chinese-language media outlets. It concludes with a list of Policy Recommendations for European decision makers. 

Adopting a joint code of conduct for responding to unplanned encounters would go a long way towards mitigating conflict risk in the region.
