The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is a German political foundation, closely associated with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU).
With regard to European and international cooperation efforts, KAS works for people to be able to live self-determined lives in freedom and dignity. Underpinned by those values, the foundation is making a contribution to help Germany to meet its growing responsibilities in the world.
With more than 80 offices abroad and projects in more than 120 countries, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung makes a unique contribution to the promotion of democracy, dialogue, conflict prevention, civil society and social market economy.
The mission of the Country Programme Lebanon is to support democratic development, good governance, and sustainable socio-economic progress through meaningful partnerships with local organizations, institutions, and stakeholders.

Promote political moderation, youth leadership, pluralism, and inclusive policymaking. - Socio-Economic Development & Innovation
Strengthen Lebanon’s economy through concepts based on sustainability, innovation, and social market economy principles. - Dialogue, Peacebuilding & Regional Cooperation
Build platforms for constructive dialogue across political, sectarian, and regional divides, fostering stability and mutual understanding. - German-Lebanese Partnership

How to Apply
Proposal applications are accepted during a fixed submission period each year, from June 1 to September 30.
The proposed measure and project should fall under the general requirements and objectives of the Country Programme. In order to apply, the applicant organization should fill in the following templates (found on the right sidebar)

- Organizational Profile Form
Complete applications must include the application form (Project Proposal Form) with the supported document (Organizational Profile Form) and should be sent to info.beirut@kas.de in order for the proposal to be considered for the following year of the application's timing.
Incomplete files will unfortunately not be considered. Late applications may be kept for the following year's proposal application process.
