Adevărul is a Romanian daily newspaper, based in Bucharest. Founded in Iași, in 1871, and reestablished in 1888, in the Romanian capital. The newspaper is owned by Adevărul Holding.

Click is the most successful daily tabloid in Romania. It is published by Adevărul Holding and distributed nationally. It has various specialised editions (Click on Sunday, Click for Women, Click Health, Click "Good appetite") with weekly or monthly frequency, totalling hundreds of distributed copies (sold or free). Adevarul Holding was created by the business man Dinu Patricu, who later on went bankrupt and sold his assets.

Jurnalul Național is a daily with national distribution. It is published by Intact Publishing S.R.L. controlled by Camelia Voiculescu, the daughter of the controversial businessman Dan Voiculescu. She also controls the popular Antena TV Group, airing the successful Antena 1 and Antena 3 TV.

Liberatea is the longest-living tabloid in Romania. It is published daily and has a nation-wide distribution. Published by the Swiss group Ringier. No political affiliation. They also publish specialised editions (Sunday edition, women, etc).
