This paper is the first of a three paper project ‘Bridging the Channel’, published by Centre for Centre for European Reform and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. The aim is to assess how EU states and the UK can continue work together in foreign and security policy after Brexit. This paper focuses on diplomatic co-operation, while the other two will focus on the defence industrial and nuclear dimensions respectively.

Young people in developed countries around the world have taken part in programmes for fostering the quality of journalism, which is becoming more visible. Youth journalism is considered vital for the survival of certain communities, and it is supported by means of increasingly accessible and visible trainings by media organisations, youth programmes in local newsrooms, school newspapers, as well as podcasts and other digital platforms. Youth journalism is a solution to certain pressing issues and a platform for ideas that will transform communities, cities, countries and the world, in the present and future.

Rara vez la política exterior en derechos humanos de un país democrático alcanza a todas las dictaduras, pues prevalecen los intereses económicos, es decir el carácter prioritario que se le asigna a exportar productos y atraer inversiones del extranjero. Este es uno de los motivos por el cual se requiere el accionar de la diplomacia parlamentaria. El Parlamento es un poder independiente del Ejecutivo y por tal motivo sus miembros surgidos del voto popular tienen la capacidad política de realizar acciones que los gobiernos no pueden, en especial en las democracias en vías de desarrollo.
