The stage belongs to the current presidents of the European institutions: Parliament, Council and Commission. This is an event for a broad audience - interested citizens, political decision-makers as well as representatives from the media, business, science and civil society are addressed.

A special highlight this year: Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, will provide impetus for a future-proof Europe during the "State of Europe" speech and answer questions afterwards.

Furthermore, young Europeans will present their innovative ideas from the "KAS Makerthon Europe". This creative ideas competition gives committed individuals from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to work together to find original solutions to European issues of the future. Unlike traditional "hackathons", the focus is on social and creative approaches. The "Makerthon" takes place two weeks before the "State of Europe" event. 

On November 9, the audience will vote for the most innovative idea by ballot, and the winner will get a chance to participate in the panel discussion with President Metsola.

Please note that online registration is a mandatory prerequisite for attending the event, but does not guarantee admission. The number of registrations exceeds the actual seating capacity. Admission of registered persons will be on a first come, first served basis at the venue. We therefore recommend arriving early to ensure that you can experience the State of Europe at the Allianz Forum.
