On 28 October 2025, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Kosovo, in cooperation with the German-Kosovar Business Association, hosted a Business Talks event at Hotel Sirius in Prishtina. The discussion brought together institutional representatives, legal experts and private-sector professionals to address the drafting of the e-commerce law and the implementation of digital signatures.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by representatives from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kosovo and the German-Kosovar Business Association, who highlighted the importance of innovation-friendly legislation for economic growth and EU alignment.
Key speakers Agim Kukaj - Director of the Department of Post-Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technology at the Ministry of Economy, Doruntina Shala - Head of the Division for Trade in Services at the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Urim Vokshi - Partner at the Law Firm "Vokshi&Lata" and Genc Jakupi - CTO at Novus Consulting discussed regulatory readiness, technical infrastructure and legal certainty as foundations for a functional digital market. The discussion emphasized digital signatures and regulatory clarity as key drivers of trust and competitiveness in the digital economy.
