In this edition of our full-day conference in cooperation with the Andrássy Universität Budapest, we want to take stock of the achievements of 20 years of EU membership of the Central and Eastern European countries, give an outlook on the Hungarian EU Council Presidency, and discuss the various challenges for the EU and the Central and Eastern European region.

Das Europabüro der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung lädt Sie in Kooperation mit der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Wehrtechnik (DWT) herzlich zum ersten Brüsseler Gespräch 2024 am Montag, den 13. Mai von 12:00 - 14:00 Uhr ein. Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung stehen traditionell verteidigungs- und sicherheitspolitische Themen. Diesmal werfen wir einen Blick auf die neu vorgestellte EDIS (European Defence Industrial Strategy) sowie das EDIP (European Defence Industrial Programme) der EU-Kommission und die Frage, welche Auswirkungen beide auf die Verteidigungsfähigkeiten Deutschlands und Europas haben werden.

Das Europabüro der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung und das „Zukunft Deutschland“-Projekt der The Hague University of Applied Science lädt Sie herzlich zur zweiten Veranstaltung unserer Online-Reihe „Wie wir morgen leben wollen“ ein. Diese steht unter dem Thema „Die Arbeitswelt von morgen – flexibler, digitaler, dezentraler?“ und findet am Dienstag, dem 11. Mai 2021 (17:00 – 18:30 Uhr) als Online-Seminar via Zoom statt. Wir freuen uns darauf, das oben genannte Thema mit Kai Whittaker MdB (CDU), Andrea Vollebregt-Terpstra vom Verband niederländischer Wasserbau-Unternehmen und Rebecca Boekraad, Einkäuferin bei Hays/Porsche AG, zu diskutieren.

This event takes a look at Australia and a partnership that has gained strate-gic importance in recent times and ought to be further deepened in the coming years.

In this online format, we follow parliamentary and/or presidential elections in European countries and exchange views with our on site KAS colleagues on the morning after each election about the most important devel-opments on election day. This time we take a look at Albania, where Parliamentary Elections are scheduled for 25 April 2021.

Wir laden Sie herzlich zu einem Gespräch mit Sabine Verheyen, Mitglied des Europäischen Parlaments, Christian Spahr, Generalsekretär der Versammlung der Regionen Europas, und Corvin Wilichowski, Freiwilliger im Rahmen der CSCE Initiative, am 22. April 2021 um 18.00 Uhr ein. Die Diskussion wird von Boris Jaros, CSCE, moderiert und kommentiert.

Bulgaria has voted
The European Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is delighted to invite you to the next session of our event format "The Morning After". In this online format, we are monitoring the Parliamentary and/or Presidential Elections in Euro-pean states and discuss the results with our KAS colleagues in the respective country. Furthermore, we try to assess the implications the results could have for the country’s relationship with the European Union. This session will focus on Bulgaria, where the Parliamentary Elections 2021 will take place on 4 April.
