Question: "Now I would like to confront you with some statements about politics, the state and society that are sometimes heard in public discussions. Please tell me how strongly you personally agree with each of these statements. You can rate your opinion on a scale between 'I completely disagree', ‘I tend to disagree’, ‘I tend to agree’ and 'I completely agree': I feel good in Germany." Figures are in per cent. Missing values for 100 per cent: I cannot say/no answer. Survey 1055 conducted on behalf of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.

A vast majority of people in Germany say they feel good in Germany. 90 per cent of Germans without a migrant background, 88 per cent of Germans with a migrant background and 89 per cent of foreigners completely agree or tend to agree with the statement 'I feel good in Germany'. Looking only at the proportion of those who 'completely agree', Germans with a migrant background (60 per cent) feel slightly more comfortable than foreigners (53 per cent) or Germans without a migrant background (49 per cent).
