  • According to current opinion polling (Slide 23), the EPP is the strongest political family in 10 EU countries, the Socialists / Social Democrats in 6, Renew in 3. Parties belonging to the far-right PfE-group are leading in 3 countries, the ECR in 2 and the extreme-right ESN in one. In two countries unaffiliated forces were overall stronger than any party family.
  • Looking at the hypothetical composition of the EP, the overall numbers  for the EPP have slightly improved compared to the previous barometer (from April). The EPP Group would still lose a few seats compared to its current strength but would remain by far the biggest force ahead of the S&D Group.
  • The far-left, the ECR and the PfE are polling slightly lower than in April, the ESN significantly higher.
