KAS Australia and the Pacific was pleased to support Coastwatchers 2.0 again this year. Following its implementation in Brisbane/Australia) (2023), Christchurch/New Zealand (2024) and Washington DC/USA (2025), KAS Australia was particularly pleased that the event was held in Brussels/EU this year. Held in cooperation with Sinopsis at the EU Parliament, the event involved the presentation by various researchers of their research results, moderated discussions, and simulation exercises.
The seminar was complemented by various meetings, including with the KAS Multinational Development Policy Dialogue Office, a Senior Policy Adviser from the EU President's Cabinet, and the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the EU Parliament.
