In an endeavour to promote the rule of law in the Pacific Region, KAS Australia and the Pacific was pleased to support the attendance at the Christchurch International Law Conference of various Pasifika participants, including the then Senior Justice of the Supreme Court of Samoa, Justice Vui Clarence Nelson, who was since appointed as the Ombudsman of Samoa. Themed 'International and Transnational Legal Frameworks', the conference brought together international, regional, and domestic experts in the field who shared their insights and latest developments in international law.
