Drawing on more than 10 years of experience in research and analysis, with expertise in radicalisation, youth movements, political communication, and identity politics, Mrs. Sammour provided participants with insights into the human security challenges facing Jordan and the ways in which global and regional developments are shaping the country’s political and social context.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of context-sensitive analysis, particularly the role of cultural understanding, local knowledge, and historical precedent in producing meaningful and credible political analysis. Participants had the opportunity to reflect on how regional developments can translate into impacts at the national and local levels and how these dynamics can be incorporated into their own research.
