Die Parlamentswahlen in Kolumbien haben das politische Panorama neu geordnet. Unklare Mehrheitsverhältnisse prägen den neuen Kongress. Die Kolumbianer waren auch aufgefordert, Kandidaten für die Präsidentschaftswahlen in Vorwahlen zu bestimmen. Hier gewann das Mitte-Rechts-Lager durch das unerwartet gute Abschneiden von Paloma Valencia neuen Schwung. Hinter den Wahlergebnissen steht jedoch weit mehr: ein Land im Spannungsfeld zwischen Reformansprüchen, Sicherheitskrisen und wachsendem Misstrauen gegenüber Institutionen.

On 5-6 December 2025, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in the Republic of Moldova organized the workshop “Communication, Strategy & Leadership” for scholars of the KAS Sur‑Place programme. The event brought together 15 scholarship holders from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, selected for their civic engagement and leadership potential.

The film caravan of the "Promoters of Democracy: Education through Film" project continues to inspire and empower the youth of Moldova throughout the 2025-2026 school year. In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) is proud to announce that the short film "Stația Schimbării" (The Station of Change) has been included in the recommended resources for both formal and non-formal learning activities within the thematic decades. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the project’s ongoing mission to foster democratic education and civic engagement among Moldovan students.
